Within the realm of heritage science, where scientific and humanistic disciplines converge to safeguard cultural treasures, E-RIHS serves as a vital hub. ARCHLAB, FIXLAB, and MOLAB pave the way for DIGILAB, offering access to digital heritage science data. HESCIDA laid the groundwork for a DIGILAB federated repository, utilizing BALaT’s infrastructure. The DIGILAB.be initiative builds on this foundation to consolidate scattered Belgian heritage science data that up until now remained hidden. Fostering accessibility and integration, DIGILAB.be, datasets from the Royal Museums of Art and History, and the universities of Antwerp, Liège and Ghent will be disclosed and put in context through BALaT.
